With the help of a county-wide millage benefiting seniors, Sanborn Gratiot Memorial Home has been able to add two additional beds – bringing the total number of beds for socio-economically challenged seniors to four -- to the facility that will be reserved for seniors in an emergent situation.

Marriage vows typically state "for better or for worse." Cathi and Rob Watson have certainly experienced both ends of the spectrum. The road of their 41-year-marriage took an unexpected turn a few years ago when Rob began experiencing a series of strokes. Sanborn Gratiot Memorial Home now provides him with a safe place to live.
